Boccia winners!
Enfield’s Junior Disability Boccia team became the champions at the London Youth Games last Thursday, 5th June. Victory was theirs as they beat 20 other teams from London boroughs. The winning pupils Harry Wallace, Lucy Frost, Joe Eoma Makumbi, and Lauren Morley were thrilled with their performance. The senior team were unbeaten, but missed out on qualification for their quarter finals by just one point.

Schools merger boosts learning
Brimsdown infants and junior schools at Green Street, Enfield, are merging to become a new all through primary school under one head teacher and governing body from 1st September this year.

Road safety winners celebrate
Children and staff at the Allan Pullinger Playgroup in Southgate were thrilled when they received first prize for their road safety knowledge in a competition devised by the Children’s Traffic Club.

Children, staff and parents at Suffolks Primary School in Enfield Highway are exercising throughout the day and paying for the privilege. Their ‘Take10athon’ is taking ten-minute daily exercise to new heights with a programme of dance routines.

Prince of Wales celebrate successes
Prince of Wales primary school in Salisbury Road, Enfield, is building up an impressive number of achievements. After a successful Ofsted inspection, they have won awards for financial management, working with schools in other countries and Quality Marks for Inclusion and Basic Skills.

94 percent get a preferred school
Parents of children in Enfield who are due to start secondary school in September have now received the results of their application for a school place. Almost 94% of Enfield children whose parents applied by the deadline have been offered a place at one of their preferred schools.
