Your Neighbourhood Help:
- Here you will find a list of 'map based' surveys. These 'map based' surveys let you interact with the map to highlight location based issues in Enfield. These surveys help us to form and prioritise local policies to make Enfield a better place to live.
Choose a survey by clicking on a survey name.
Map Controls:
- These buttons will let you move the map around, or zoom into a particular place.
If you know exactly where you would like to go, you can type it in the box—a postcode
or a street name—and the map will zoom to it. If you want to change the zoom, you can
use the ‘+’ or ‘-‘ buttons to zoom in or out to that particular spot. If you would like to
move the map, you can use the arrow keys to move in the direction you want to go.
Drawing on the map:
There are one or two drawing tools (dependant on the type of survey) to help you identify those areas of concern. On the right hand side of the map, under the 'Categories you can place
on the map' section, you will see all the issues you can locate.
Click on a tool

(point) or

(area/region), then for the point drawing tool, simply click once on the map, for the area/region tool, click on the map, then move
your mouse and keep clicking and moving to build your area/region.
Saving your drawn object - once you've drawn your point or area/region you need to click the tick button to save it.
Clearing your drawn object - if you've drawn your point or area/region but don't want to save it you need to click the X button.
Deleting a saved object
Once you've save an object, it will apear in the 'Categories you've mapped' section. On the end of each line you will see a small x. Click this
x to remove this object or click 'clear all' to remove all drawn objects
Submitting your survey
- Each survey has a maximum number of entries you can provide and will automatically submit your survey when the maximum has been reached. However, you can submit your survey early by clicking on the Submit Survey button.
